The goal of the campaign is to engage the public, the media and government figures with the plight facing wild tigers. The crowfunding approach has not only been employed to facilitate the production of dakini's gorgeous book, TIGERS; it has also allowed for the creation of an extensive social network of enthusiastic supporters, spanning Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, a Project Blog and YouTube channel. Building upon the impact of this growing international support and the wealth of high-quality content afforded by the book, dakini has also forged key strategic partnerships within the media and corporate sectors, including contracts with NDTV and luxury hotel group Oberoi.

Proceeds from the campaign are to be distributed amongst dakini's tiger conservation charity partners, which include The Environmental Investigation Agency, Wildlife Protection Society of India and 21st Century Tiger.
